The Pakistan Super League (PSL) unveiled the winner's trophy for the second edition of the league in a ceremony held at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Monday. The 'Spirit Trophy', encrusted with 50,000 crystals, was designed by Swarovski, a world-renowned fashion and luxury brand that specialises in cut-glass accessories. It aims to capture the essence of Pakistani cricket, the managing director of Swarovski, Andrew Mojica, explained during the event. All players from the Peshawar Zalmi (PZ) team, including the foreigners, have given their consent to playing the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final in Lahore, PZ owner Javed Afridi said on Monday. Talking to DawnNews from Dubai, Javed Afridi said that he had met the squad on Sunday and discussed various prospects of playing the PSL final in Lahore. "It is good news that all Zalmi players have given their consent to the team management that they are ready to play in Lahore," he said. "Our players are motivated and excited to play well and reach the final of this mega event," he added. PSL Chaimran Najam Sethi had reiterated on several occasions that a special draft may be held for the PSL final so that leagues could select players who agree to play in Lahore.
